A graduate of Butler University with a BS Degree in Education. She grew up with dance as a way of life. She was a member of the Coquettes (dance squad) with the Carmel High School Marching Band. She performed at the football and basketball halftime shows and was in the High School production of "Oklahoma". She has been involved with babysitting and daycare all through high school and college. She has a diverse background in education and the performing arts, which she incorporates into the preschool program. She believes that performing helps with the self-confidence all children need to try new things and strive to become successful at everything. She loves seeing the little ones "come out of their shells" and are independent with their learning. Diane is married with two adult children. She founded the preschool in 1994.

Maryann holds a degree in elementary education from Purdue University. She taught for the Penn-Harris Madison School corporation as a classroom teacher and in community education for five years before moving to Carmel in 1995. While her four sons were small, she provided daycare for neighborhood friends, tutored, volunteered on the PTO, was president of her neighborhood babysitting coop and eventually opened a preschool in her home in 2003. Looking to move her passion for educating young children out of the home, led her here in 2007.
